Join us for Outdoor Worship
Sundays: September 28th, October 5th, and October 12th
We are currently undergoing sanctuary renovations! On Sunday(s), September 28th, October 5th, and October 12th, we will temporarily meet outside near the roundabout area, beside the gymnasium. Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs, and we will have chairs brought from the CLC as well. This will be a unique time for us to enjoy worship and fellowship together, so help spread the word and invite your neighbors!
Here are the most important details you need to know:
Temporary meeting times: Sunday School will begin at 9:30 AM, in the normal locations. Coffee and dessert will be available starting at 9:00 AM, inside the CLC. Outdoor Worship will begin at 10:30 AM. Please note these are temporary times, and we will resume our normal schedule (9:45 AM Sunday School, 11:00 AM Worship) starting Sunday, October 19th.
Families are encouraged to worship together, but the playground will be supervised and available for children. The nursery will be available as usual.
In the event of inclement weather, we will worship together inside the gymnasium. In this scenario, traditional Children’s Church will take place upstairs in the Youth Room.
Feel free to dress casual! We’re going to be outdoors! Lawn chairs, tailgate style tents, and a heart for worship are not only welcomed but encouraged! We will have a simplified worship service, including hymns and a sermon, as well as a time for you to give an offering. The offering box that is typically located in the vestibule will also be placed beside the gymnasium as well.
This special time will be what we make of it! Let’s invite our neighbors and friends! We have a great opportunity to be a visible representation of the body of Christ to our community. What a special reminder that the Church isn’t a building, but a people!
WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY: During our sanctuary renovation, we will meet on the bottom floor of the sanctuary building, in the area commonly called the “old fellowship hall”. We will continue to meet for prayer and Bible study at 6:30 PM.
